OF CONDUCT

Athlete Safety & Conduct Policy

NOPO Strength and Conditioning is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and structured training environment for all youth and high school athletes. All sessions are fully supervised and led by Head Coach Jacob Lusby.

Athlete Safety Standards

The safety of every athlete is our highest priority. To ensure a consistent and appropriate training experience, NOPO Strength and Conditioning upholds the following standards:

  • All training sessions are fully supervised, unsupervised training and open gym are not permitted

  • Programming is designed to be age-appropriate for all participants

  • Proper technique is established before any load or resistance is introduced

  • Athletes are required to promptly report any injuries, discomfort, or concerns to coaching staff

  • All equipment must be used only as directed by coaching staff

Athlete Code of Conduct

Participation in NOPO Strength and Conditioning is a privilege. All athletes are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, both in and out of the training space.

Athletes are expected to:

  • Follow all coaching instructions

  • Show respect to coaches, teammates, and staff

  • Use appropriate language and maintain professional behavior

  • Arrive on time and prepared to train

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Horseplay or any conduct that compromises the safety of others

  • Bullying, harassment, or intimidation in any form

  • Disrespectful or disruptive conduct

  • Possession or use of drugs, alcohol, or weapons

Parent & Guardian Expectations

NOPO Strength and Conditioning values the partnership between families and coaching staff. Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting a positive training environment.

Parents and guardians are expected to:

  • Promptly communicate any known injuries, health concerns, or changes in an athlete's condition to coaching staff

  • Support and respect NOPO's program policies and coaching decisions

  • Direct questions or concerns to coaching staff in a respectful and constructive manner

  • Understand that while observation is welcome, interfering with or interrupting coaching during sessions is not permitted

We ask that all families model the same standards of respect and conduct that we expect from our athletes.

Disciplinary Policy

NOPO Strength and Conditioning takes the safety and well-being of all participants seriously. Violations of this policy by athletes or their families may result in a verbal or written warning, temporary suspension from the program, or permanent removal from the program, depending on the nature and severity of the conduct.

Waiver & Participation Agreement

All athletes must have a completed and signed waiver and participation agreement on file before taking part in any NOPO Strength and Conditioning session or activity. No athlete will be permitted to participate without this documentation on file.

Violations of this code may result in suspension or removal from the program.
